Step into a winter wonderland and harness the power of a team of huskies as you glide through pristine forests and across snow-covered meadows. We work with a family owned and operated company that provides the best dog sledding experience in the Vail Valley. Their care for their pups is their main priority. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime!
Operating December - March (snow & weather permitting)
Two tours daily, a morning (9am) and afternoon (12pm).
Two guests per sled. 400 lb weight limit per sled.
A driver or "musher" stands behind you and controls the team and sled and a team of huskies pull the sled.
A halfway break gives guests a chance to take some pictures and have some homemade pumpkin bread and hot cocoa.
Rides are exciting as the dogs run several parts of the trail and we go up and down a mountain.
Most dog sled companies use a flatter trail so the dogs just go at a fast walk through the entire trip.
Warm wool blankets and pillows provided.
Six sleds run at a time. With up to sixty dogs on the trail, you are in for a sight to behold and photograph.
It's a five mile, one and one-half hour ride.

There are 1 or 2 people per dog sled. One dog sled costs $550.00.
